Halloween Happenings

Wow! Time has flown by =) This has been the shortest October ever! My best friend got married, we had our Annual Huber's Winery outing, had out of town company and enjoyed a great Halloween! Stella is just over 6 months old today and had her Dr appt also- she weighs 17.8 lbs and is 27.5 inches long...we couldn't be more blessed right now and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful hubby and beautiful baby. Stella is 3 months and 1 week old today! And she is finally giving us some laughs- I knew Joey was pretty funny all along, now Stella thinks so too!

We had a great vacation to Tampa last week., and after 18 hours driving home with our new 50" flat screen we are back to the old schedule. Stella did a great job and we could be luckier to have such a fantabulous baby.

1 Month Photos

Here are just a few photos from her 1 month birthday which was this past Tuesday, May 19.

Stella went to the pediatrician today and weighs 10.3 lbs! That's a 3 lb gain since birth and she is 23 inches long- up from 19.5 at birth. She is already growing like a weed, and at only 4 weeks - I get a little teary-eyed already thinking about how fast time has flown.

And Baby Makes Three!

Our sweet baby will be 2 weeks old tomorrow!! Wow! I am already sad thinking about going back to work and we still have 4 weeks =( We have really been adjusting well- its like she has always been here. And, she definitely takes after her mom and dad- she eats a lot! And so, she sleeps very good at night- already 3-4 hours at a time =) I hope it stays that way.

So after a pretty good labor and delivery- Stella Marie Brown entered the world on April 21, 2009 at 1:11am. She weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 19.5 inches long. She had some minor complications and had to stay in the NICU for 2 days and then the CCN until our discharge. She is doing great and we are so blessed to finally have our little baby =)

Monday's the Day!

I had my last appointment today and my induction is scheduled for Monday!! I cannot believe this is really happening- and in only 4 days!!

I am glad that I feel ready and that we don't have any preparation at home to do. Now we just wait and spend these last few days together before we are Mommy and Daddy =)

24 days!!!

It's been awhile since I posted last, but only 24 more days till my estimated due date!! I am full-term at the end of this week, so I hoping she decides to come early- but my doctor says she is pretty sure I will go at least until April 10/11th.

I cannot believe how fast the time has gone- especially this last trimester. I know that they say you forget all this after the baby comes, but I hope I remember it for awhile (so I can remind my self not to get pregnant again for at least 2 yrs!) LOL!

Everything is ready for Stella's arrival, so now we just wait..... I am SO impatient.

The Baby room is 99% complete! Only a few small things to do and that's it =)

 

9 weeks left!

Well, I am 31 weeks today- I can't believe we only have 9 weeks to go! That's only 9 Saturdays! The third trimester has definitely set in but I am still doing well. I don't sleep through the night, but I have been sleeping more soundly than before. And of course, the backache and the fatigue are there but its manageable at this point. 

Baby Stella is kicking like crazy and she can always starts up when she hears her daddy's voice- it's so cute. So, know I start the waiting game. The room is finished and I am excited about my upcoming showers. I can't wait to meet this little one =)
