Baby Room

Just posting some photos of the baby room to this point. We just finished painting yesterday and got all the furniture in today! I haven't taken any photos of the room with the bookcase yet, but you can see the crib and dresser.

Now we just wait until Monday to find out the sex and I can get the bedding! I can't wait =)

Ultrasound is almost here!

2 more weeks until the ultrasound- I cannot wait!! I know I am so impatient, but it is true that once you feel better time flies by.

We got our baby furniture this weekend- I am in love with it.

The room should be completely painted this weekend and then the fun part- decorating! I can't wait to find out the sex so I can buy the bedding =)

Fun times ahead and the weather is perfect for snow already! I hope we get snow for Christmas this year!! I love Holiday Season!! And it's almost time for Christmas music- yeah!

Heartbeat

Our last visit went well and you can hear the heartbeat in the video starting at 10 secs.

Dec 1st is our next appt and we find out what it is then!! Everyone think girl-thoughts =)

Good Weekend

Look at my belly!! We finally got to go to Huber's this weekend! 

I can't until we get to share this tradition with our kids =) The weather couldn't have been more perfect and we found the best pumpkins ever! 

And, finally, the second trimester is here- hooray! I have been feeling much better and getting even more hungry now that the nausea has subsided. I seriously need to start a workout routine....

Another Monday down.... is it Friday yet?! Haha

5 days and counting

5 more days and we are officially in the second trimester!! I hope it is as good as most pregnant women claim. I am so sick of being sick! And things just seem to be so crazy overall. Work is tiring, Joey is working non-stop and taking classes and my house seems dirtier than ever ( I am sure it isn't, though) . I feel like I need a spa weekend-desperately. 

Anyhow, after this week I will post a new belly picture (there still isn't much to see). And we find out what the sex is on December 1st-- ugh! That seems so far away right now. 

2nd trimester here I come!

So, yesterday marks my ninth week! Only a few more weeks left and we will officially be in the second trimester- can you believe it? I feel like it has been forever already and it's only been 5 weeks since we found out! I keep forgetting to take a belly picture. I really think I am showing already which isn't really supposed to be happening so soon- what does that mean? Joey reminded me yesterday that twins do run on his side of the family! I can't even think about that!!

I have been gradually feeling better, I hope that it sticks. My allergies and sinuses are a different story and I can't really do anything about it, so Que Sera! We went for a walk yesterday for the first time in a month- it was nice but very hot! My sciatica is really bothering me, so hopefully we can get back in to a routine of daily walks and that will help. 

I always hate Sundays because it just means I have another week of work ahead, but that's life. I would really love to be a stay-at-home mom once the baby is born, but our finances tell us that's not gonna happen =) Maybe I can at least work part-time. We'll see. I think the saying is, "another day another dollar". 

First Doctor's Appointment

So, I had my first doctor's appt today and everything seems to be moving along well. I already have another appointment for the 25th and we will get to hear the heartbeat then. I am so impatient I can't believe I have to wait another 3 wks. Dr Bunch says my due date is April 19, 2008! That is so far away! At least these past few days I have been feeling better than before.
